My name is TamilSelvi, my husband's name is Manickam. I have been married for 16 years. I have two sons, the eldest son Yogeshwar and the youngest son name as Gautam. I live in Vasantham Nagar, Avadi, Chennai. My Silamba Aasan is Mr. Natarajan. He lives in Avadi Pattabiram. He is 75 years old and my aasan gave me excellent training in Silamabam and made me the best student in Silambam art. It was only after I got married that I trained in this Silamabm art with great enthusiasm. Though I wanted to study at a young age, I did not get the opportunity. I took my son to my teacher to give him silamba training and then he asked me to train him too. Mr. Natarajan gave them silambam training whole heartedly. He started the Silambam class seven years ago under the name of Tamil Silambalayam in Avadi, and to me many girls are learning Silamabam with safety. I have been the Assistant State Secretary and National Referee of the Tamilnadu Silambattam Association and the Competitive Director of the Tiruvallur Silambattam Association. The President of the Tamilnadu Silambattam Association Dr. M. Rajendran. IAS., I have the opportunity to take the art of Silambam to the next generation with their blessing. My aim to take the Silamabam to the next generation. Trials can also be turned into achievements if the woman thinks.
